The entire process of virtual testing in steps:

Parameter Analysis
A parameter analysis (e.g. QFD) is carried out to obtain a good overview of relevant parameters and of critical design requirements.

Setting up Virtual Model
After the parameter analysis has been carried out, the virtual model is set up. This model represents your product and is used in the following steps of the simulation process.

Simulation
After the virtual model has been created, simulations can begin. The simulations give the predicted performance of the product.

Validation
After simulation, the virtual model is validated.

Optimization
The parameters in the model are adjusted to ensure that your product will achieve optimal performance. The relationship between the design parameters and product performance is translated into in design rules.
